Summer Reading Game!

It's the best time to come to the library! The Summer Reading Game!

This year's game is called 'Mad Lab' and it's all about exploring a mad scientist's house, which is full of weird creatures, wacky experiments and wonky puzzles. Here's what the house looks like.

The Mad Lab

Looks awesome, doesn't it? You guys are going to love it. It's for anyone who has finished grade 1! Starts on June 28th!

Being Sick is No Fun

I have been so sick for two days, and it is not fun. I had a stomach flu and I had to stay home from work. That is sad because the Children's Festival is happening right now at St. Albert Place. Now that I am back I feel much better.

Our summer students have been hired and are starting to work hard on the Summer Reading Game! So far it sounds like it's going to be lot's of fun. The name of the game is "Shipwrecked." And, yes you guessed it, you get to pretend that you have been shipwrecked on an island, and have to find a way off. Is there treasure there, any weird tribes, what's in that cave, you won't know till you are playing the game!
